About Me

HOW I BECAME A PHOTO STORYTELLER

I picked up my first camera when I was very young, with my dad as my coach and mentor.

I even remember developing our prints and waiting in anticipation for the image to appear like magic on the photo paper. Back then, my subjects included family pets, neighborhood friends, flowers, documenting hikes, camping trips and family adventures. I still remember preparing my photos on a matte board for the 4-H fair. My family always had photo albums…lots of them. Growing up, my sister and I spent hours looking through those albums and those photos left a lasting impression on me. My goal is to bring out the very best you by getting to know you. Photos are your very own story, your history and your legacy.

I’m a wife, proud mom, daughter, sister, aunt and trusted best friend.  My family and friends are at the heart of my world and they humor me by being some of my very best subjects.  I’ve been known to say ‘just one more photo’ a few times in my life or my famous, ‘heads together’.

By day, I’m an HR professional and Intern expert with an amazing retail company.  When I’m not there, I’m relaxing with my family and friends in the Northwoods of Wisconsin kayaking, skiing or traveling the globe with my best guys. Sometimes I’m just hanging out in Trolltown or Whoville – but never without a camera in my hand.

LET ME HELP YOU TELL YOUR STORY

Contact Me

If you ask anyone who knows me they will tell you I have a camera with me ALL THE TIME.

I love creating images that evoke emotion and inspiration.  My passion is capturing faces, families, couples, siblings, friends and I’d love the opportunity to work with you. I love natural light photography the very best and I find the beautiful golden hour in the height of summer or on coldest days of winter incredibly inspiring.  Chasing the sun is exhilarating. From weddings to babies, families, little kiddos and seniors I believe that every photo, every frame, every image tells a story…your story. I love the posed, portrait photos as much as those with the silly looks, the sideways glance, the honest to goodness belly laugher.
